• Jeanett is a WOC entrepreneur who founded "Plantitas Catering". A plant-based project infused with love which she consciously conjures recetas to provide delicious, affordable , healing food to the community.

    She is a trained Reiki healer & creative medicine maker. 

    Guided by her ancestors , she is passionate about educating herself and community on decolonizing food.  An Abolitionist healer who has been impacted by the PIC. She is consistently taking action to organize food drives for the unhoused folks of Skid Row. 

    Fierce advocate for her son as they navigate the oppressive educational school system.

  • Maritza is a Xicana from South Gate, CA by way of Michoacán, México.

    For the Past 15 years she has been on a healing journey working to reclaim her intergenerational inheritance. Tapping into plant medicine and herbalism along the way, she has come to understand the interconnectedness of healing in our communities with sovereignty and our relationships with all beings.

    She shares heart medicine with community and channels love in her work to dismantle systems of oppression.

    She holds a Ph.D. from UCLA in Urban Schooling and works With educators to support youth and community in schools.

    She is the ever-observing Taurus who enjoys hiking and biking.

  • Dámariz is a trauma informed bilingual advocate for domestic/Interpersonal violence, and sexual assault survivors.

    They recognize the importance of healing and re-learning the medicine of Their ancestors, as such she embraces her bruja positionality to share medicine with the community in various forms , including platicas, altar building, medicine making, firekeeping and holding space for BIPOC and QT community.

    Her unconventional path to education has led her to obtain degrees in social work, drug studies, women, gender & sexuality studies, which arm her in her journey to dismantle and heal.
